Masjid Quba is a mosque located in the city of Medina, in Saudi Arabia. It is considered one of the oldest and most significant mosques in Islam, as it was the first mosque built by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) after his migration from Mecca to Medina.

The mosque was built in the year 622 CE and is located about 3 miles (5 kilometers) south of the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid al-Nabawi) in Medina. It is a beautiful and spacious mosque, with a large courtyard and several prayer halls. The mosque is also known for its distinctive green dome, which is visible from a distance.

Masjid Quba is considered a sacred place for Muslims, and it is recommended to perform a voluntary prayer (nafilah) in the mosque when visiting Medina. It is also mentioned in the Quran in Surah Al-Tawbah (9:108), where Allah praises the believers who establish a mosque in Quba.

Overall, Masjid Quba holds a special place in Islamic history and is a significant site for Muslims to visit and pray in.
