Masjid Ayesha Makkah

This mosque is also known as Tan’eem and this is the place where Ummul Momineem entered Ihram for Umrah.

Masjid Ayesha is a mosque located in the city of Makkah (Mecca), Saudi Arabia. It is also known as Masjid Taneem, as it is located in the Taneem neighborhood, about 5 kilometers from the Masjid al-Haram, which is the holiest mosque in Islam and the site of the Kaaba.

Masjid Ayesha is an important site for pilgrims performing the Umrah, which is a minor pilgrimage to Makkah that can be undertaken at any time of the year. The mosque is a popular location for pilgrims to enter into the state of Ihram, which is a sacred state of purity that is required before performing the Umrah.

The mosque is named after Ayesha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who performed her own Umrah from this location. It is also believed that the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself performed his own Umrah from this location.

Masjid Ayesha has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims who visit the mosque. It now has multiple prayer halls and can accommodate thousands of worshippers at once.
