The House of Fatima, also known as the Chamber of Fatima or Hujra-tul-Fatima, is located inside the Masjid-e-Nabwi in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is a small room adjacent to the Prophet’s Mosque, where the Prophet Muhammad’s daughter, Fatima, used to reside with her husband, Ali ibn Abi Talib.
The House of Fatima is considered to be a significant historical and religious site for Muslims, as it is believed to have been a place where many important events in Islamic history took place. According to some sources, it was in this room that the Prophet Muhammad received the revelation of the verse of purification (Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 33), which refers to the purified members of his household, including Fatima, Ali, and their sons Hasan and Husayn.
The House of Fatima is not open to the public for visitation, as it is a private area within the mosque. However, it is still revered by Muslims who visit Masjid-e-Nabwi to offer their prayers and pay their respects to the Prophet Muhammad and his family.
